KIFS Collectables

I am a partial owner of my family company KIFS Collectibles. I grew up with an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, thanks to my father, who started the company over 40 years ago.

At KIFS Collectables, we buy and sell Movie Props, Celebrity Autographs, and Movie Memrobillia at conventions worldwide at locations like Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and even Saudi Arabia. While I have not attended these trips, I have attended many conventions in the United States. Examples include Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California, Florida Supercon in Miami, Florida, 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, and even our home turf at Motor City Comic Con in Novi, Michigan.

While at these conventions, I partake in skills of marketing, advertisement, salesmanship, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, I am responsible for the interstate transport of merchandise to our various setups. When I started around the age of 12, I just took notes as I watched my father conduct private signings with actors such as Carrie Fischer (Leia Skywalker), Karen Gillian (Amy Pond), and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett).

But as I grew older, I started negotiating and acquiring products myself through celebrities and agents such as Jason David Frank (Green Power Ranger), William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence), Henry Winkler (the Fonze), William Shatner (Captain Kirk), Ralph Macchio (Daniel Larusso), and many more.

But the best part about the job is the unique experiences and people that I get to meet. For example, while working at Star Wars Celebration, I was able to go on the film set of The Mandalorian and go to the Disney theme parks many times to acquire products while also having fun.
